Writing some of these letters to myself in the midst of chemo was so powerful in a time I really struggled to hear any loving truth from inside myself. I’m so glad you’re here and sharing more about this practice ♥️
I have experienced swimming in this ocean of love you speak of, basking in its warmth and buoyant embrace. We are love. We come from love and return to it when we are finished this earth journey.
Love letters to oneself sound beautiful. I will add this to my daily morning pages.

Early this year, reading your books, I was already helping myself to great portions of your lovely words as if you had baked love, grace and candour into my favourite puddings and told me it was an all-you-can-eat deal!
I’m so looking forward to these letters of love! My mother kept a log of how much it cost to raise me and, as she reckoned it up,would tell me all the other (better) things the money could have been spent on... well, I’m far along the road from that, but it’s hard to silence the echoes completely. Thank you so much for your work, Elizabeth: I cherish the life lessons and you make me laugh!

It was especially awesome to learn that you do one of the things that I also do - ask in my journal what God/Love wants me to know, then write the response I get when I listen to that voice above the others in my head.
